Hi, If you are an ANDROID user then do the following. Go to Settings > About Phone > Status Then look for the MEID. If you can`t find it that way, it will always be located under the battery in the back of the phone and the MEID Dec number is the one we generally use at Ting, but the Hex version of the number will work too: For further help >> For iphone, 1.Tap 'Settings' on the 'Home' screen. 2.Tap 'General,' then tap 'About.' 3.Scroll down the window until you see 'MEID.' The MEID number is to the right of 'MEID.'
In iTunes 4.Connect your iPhone to your computer with its USB cable. 5.Launch iTunes if it does not automatically open.
6.Click 'iPhone' under 'Devices' in the left column of the window. 7.Click the 'Summary' tab, then click 'Phone Number' in the 'iPhone' section.
The MEID number displays. If you don`t have your iPhone, you can still find the device`s MEID number in iTunes. Click 'Edit' on the iTunes menu bar in Windows, or click 'iTunes' on the menu bar in Mac OS X.
8.Click the 'Devices' tab, then hover the cursor over an iPhone backup in the 'Device Backups' box. The iPhone`s MEID number displays.
If you have the phone device`s boxed packaging, you can find your serial number and IMEI/MEID printed on barcode label that is attached to the packaging. If you are not able to get to the About screen on your phone, please use one of these options to access the serial number and IMEI/MEID on your iOS phone device. Your IMEI is engraved on the back case, near the bottom. The MEID number is the first 14 numbers, omitting the last number.
Remove the SIM card. The serial number and IMEI will be printed on the SIM tray.(if you cannot find it in the above ways try looking here).

• • • Thanks to Android’s Device Manager, you no longer have to guess about where you might have misplaced your tablet. In this post, we’re going to show you how to track down your device in case you ever misplace it, as well as remotely lock and erase your existing content. When you turn on your RCA tablet for the first time, you are asked if you have a Gmail account. Google uses your Gmail account to access the Google Play store and other Google services. During the setup process, you might have noticed a screen titled “Google & Location.” It is on this screen where you can allow Google and Google apps to estimate the location of your device and supply you with relevant information pertaining to apps you have downloaded. Don’t worry; you can change these options anytime in your tablet’s settings.
Once your Google account is set up and online, you can use Google’s Device Manager and find approximately where your tablet is. Using a separate computer or device, sign in to your Google account at www.android.com/devicemanager. Once logged in, you should see all of the mobile devices linked to your Google Account. You can also click on the pencil icon to edit the name of your devices. Once your device is found, you’ll be able to see its approximate location and when it was last used.
It’s important to note that Google does not keep a history of your tablet’s location; location updates are deleted and refreshed each time you log in and out of Google’s Device Manager. Let’s say you know it’s in your house somewhere, but you can’t find it amidst all of your other stuff. Click the “Ring” icon underneath the location panel in Google Device Manager and Google will prompt your tablet to ring until you find it and press the tablet’s power button. If you find that you’ve left your tablet elsewhere, you can set up the lock and erase feature and remotely lock and erase your tablet’s content. Of course, the only caveat to this is if your tablet is offline.
Device Manager will not be able to locate, ring or use the lock and erase function when your tablet is offline. This is also true if you have selected to hide your device within the Google Play store settings. To change these settings within Google Play, visit play.google.com/settings. There you have it; an easy way to keep track of and manage your RCA tablet while keeping peace of mind.
