You should always exercise caution when playing with electro, and though I've made every effort to make sure that the software behaves in a predictable way, it's not been extensively tested.
Any use is at your own risk. What you need You need more than just the software to get started. You will also need the remote cable for the series 2B, which is available from. You'll need a 2B too, of course - this won't work with the Series 2, or any other electro box. Note that while you might see other USB cables available online, I have no idea if they'll work - the cable contains electronics that work with the software on your computer. The will connect to the 2B in various ways, but ultimately, unless you built a Bluetooth adaptor for it, you'll still need a cable to plug into the 2B.
System requirements To the best of my knowledge, this software will work on all recent versions of OS X, though I've tested and developed it using Snow Leopard (10.6), and briefly tried out the Windows version with Windows XP and Windows 7. It will hopefully work on other versions, and if not, please let me know and I'll see if there's anything I can do. Getting started First, please make sure you have read all the pages here, and understand what the software does, and how it's supposed to work. I can try to answer questions you send by email, but it may take a little while, and it will be much better if you don't ask things you could have found out by reading here first. Mac users should be able to download the zip file here, double click it and then click the application inside to launch it - though you will need to have the drivers for the cable installed on your system first. Windows users can now also download a full version too, as I've upgraded my development tools.
